The name of the elderly hero in this photo is Kedar Nath Vyas.. It is only because of his family that Hindus today have the opportunity to worship at the Gnanavapi temple. Court allowed worship at Vyas Ji Ka Tahkhana in Gnanavapi Temple. His family has been worshiping Kashi Vishwanath since 1580. After the destruction of the temple, they filed a case in 1880 seeking permission to worship and won in 1937.
In 1947, the Muslims tried to capture the place, but he resisted the Muslims and saved them from their param.
