Hamas killed 10 Hindu students from Nepal on 7th October 2023

It is a well known fact that Hamas terrorists (HAMAS–the acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya, Islamic Resistance Movement) committed extremely brutal torture, executions, rapes and kidnappings of Israeli citizens on 7th October 2023. It is a little know fact that among 1,400 or so humans who met an inhumane fate included at least 10 Nepali Hindus.  Most of these Hindus were students of agriculture while some of them were working there as aged care workers, helping aged and elderly live their lives in the quiet of their homes.

According to the paper, at Israel’s Kibbutz Alumim, close to the Gaza border, ten Nepali farming students were killed by Hamas’s grenade explosions and intense gunfire. Four other Nepalis were injured, and one student is missing. Before the attack, around 4,500 Nepalis were estimated to be working in Israel, many as caregivers. About 200 students were on the “Learn and Earn” program, which allows them to learn new skills while working on farms in Israel.

Durga Neupane, aunt of another student, Narayan Prasad Neupane, who was killed, said she would struggle to comprehend his death until she saw his dead body. Dhan Bahadur Chaudhary, 26, injured by a grenade blast, was among those who returned. He saw his friends shot dead and others bleed to death. “I can’t sleep well at night,” he told reporters as he arrived at the airport in the capital Kathmandu. “I dream of my friends. I only see blood, I see a river of blood.”
