Swaminarayan Sanstha – Bhumi Puja

Sunday 25th April, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha laid the foundations of what will be Australia’s largest Hindu temple in southern hemisphere, right here in Western Sydney.

Shri Prakash Mehta National President and Shri Surnider Jain Vice President attended the Bhumi Puja (khat, ground breaking) ceremony which has been conducted following Covid Safe measures. The facility will have a temple as well as community facilities. A huge garden is also planned with a plan to plant 12,000 trees – which be open to the public. The temple is a boon for Hindus.
