Hindu Council has given a witness to the Senate estimates committee about the proposed Religious Discrimination Bill. The main issues that were raised by Hindu Council were about the expression of religious belief, inclusive society and reduction of employment opportunities. Both Hindus and Buddhists agreed that the bill requires changes.
It is expected that script of the witness will be posted on Parliament website. When that happens, I will post a link to that here.
