In this Talk: of Chapter 4 – Independence – Sutras 7-11

  • In this talk, we continue our journey in this final chapter of the Yoga Sutras that guide us to a state of freedom, of ‘independence,’ to mastery over our desires, to an ever steadier state of mind.
  • When you sit for meditation, what happens? Many times unconsciously these thoughts fly out, fly over our mental horizon. … don’t react, don’t identify, just watch them, observe them, let them float, and you will come to know gradually after some years the entire book of your subconscious mind.’

Raja Yoga: The Yoga Aphorisms of Patanjali is a major work on the practice of yoga and meditation formulated over 2,000 years ago. They teach us how to control our mind and achieve inner peace and freedom.
