Sri Om Care a leading Home and Disability Care provider needs Disability Support staff for Canberra.
We have disabled couple in their 30s. Husband has mild intellectual disability and wife has a partial vision impairment.
Both are independent and are working. They can do their part of care for themselves.
They do not drive. They need supervision, guidance and support in tasks with which they may have difficulties. They need to be driven around when needed besides After Hours care and liaison with ancillary workers like maintenance, cleaners, shopping etc.
Support person can work part time from 9 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday, elsewhere if they want to. Must stay home outside of these hours.
Sri Om Care is registered Home care and disability provider. You should possess a fully insured Car with clean regular driving licence.
You will be provided with a SALARY PACAKAGE including RENT FREE fully furnished one bed room (Studio) accommodation and a wage as per ACT Rules. You will be reimbursed fuel and Registration charges as per prevailing rules of the Agreement.
You should be having good health conditions and should be able to produce Medical certificate to that effect and few references. You should consent to Federal police criminal check.
STRICTLY NO SMOKING, DRINKING ALCHOHOL OR CONSUMPTION OR COOKING OF MEAT, FISH OR POULTRY IN THE KITCHEN
You will be given training in basic care needs and First aid.
