Ganesh Visarjan 2022 @ Sri Venkateswara Temple, Helensburgh

As in the past years, Ganesh Visarjan is being celebrated at Sri Venkateswara Temple, Helensburgh NSW  with a day long festivities comprising of Rituals, Procession of deities around the Temple premises, cultural activities / entertainment and Visarjan of Clay Ganesha idol in the ocean at Stanwell Park beach.

Programme Details:

Date : Sunday the 4th September 2022.

08.00 am – Kalasa Pooja
08.15 am – Ganapathy Moola Mantra Trisathi Homam & Visesha Maha Poornahuthi.
10.30 am – Visesha Abhishekam, Alankaram and Sodashobachara Deeparadhanai.
12.30 pm – Procession around the Temple.
02.30 pm – Procession to Stanwell Park beach.
03.45 pm – Visarjan at the beach.

Join the Grand procession of the Lord around the Temple and at the beach with over 40 drummers / dancers of “Shiva Garjana Team” in the lead.

09.30 am – Sale of SAREES:- Sarees, that adorned the deities are being offered to devotees to purchase and be blessed.

If you are likely to bring your own worshipped idol…
– It is your responsibility to take it to the Ocean for immerssion.
– SVT expects them to be made of pure Clay. No other synthetic or plastic ones.
– The clay idols should not be painted or coloured.
– if you wish to hand in to the Ticket Counter paying up the associated cost of $15/-, please do so. Do Not scatter them.
