Victoria Chapter of Hindu Council of Australia is assisting stranded overseas students in Metropolitan Melbourne by supplying groceries kits following the current Stage 4 restrictions.
So far over 400 students are supported under this initiative and the list of students requesting for support is growing everyday. We have been getting requests from Mornington in the far east to Werribee in the far west and from Mernda in the north to Southbank and Docklands in the south. We are trying our best to help everyone who approaches HCA for assistance. However due to current restrictions, and overwhelming requests there may be some delays in reaching out to the needy students.
HCA Victoria is grateful to the Victorian Government for providing financial assistance to support these activities.
