Established in November 1993 to promote Sanatan Religion, Hindi Language, Social Cohesion, Music, Art & Culture.
Operates as SANATAN CULTURAL CENTRE TRUST & SANATAN MANDIR situated 1050 Richmond Road, Marsden Park. This property was bought by the Association in the year 2002.
The Association celebrates annually all major Hindu festivals: Maha Shiv Ratri, Holi, Ram Navmi, Shree Krishan Janam Asthami, Nav Ratam,and Diwali at the Centre. Prior to this all celebrations were conducted at members’ houses.
Currently the Association is teaching Hindi, tabla, harmonium, contemporary and classical dances on Sundays during school terms at Quakers Hill High School supported by the Parents and Teachers Association
Ramayan recitals, bhajans and kirtans are held at Centre on every Tuesdays from 7.00 to 9.15 pm.[ currently stopped due to Covid 19; it will resume as soon as restrictions are lifted.
The Association is member of Hindu Council of Australia and Ethnic Communities Council, NSW
