If you are stranded in Australia and do not have the means to return home, Assisted Returns Program can help you get back to your country and then ensure that you reach your safe.
Homeward Assisted Returns. The program that we deliver, Homeward (www.assistedreturns.com.au) provides assistance for non-Australian citizens to voluntarily return home. The three main categories in which we can assist recipients includes;
- Pre-return counselling and planning using a person centered approach
- Arranging and facilitating travel (including obtaining travel documents, booking flights)
- Reception assistance to ensure they are connected with family and friends in their return country
Our National office is based in Canberra and to ensure we provide a tailored service to our Recipients, we also have caseworkers based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Our staffing team is also culturally diverse and includes employees from diverse backgrounds. We pride ourselves to be culturally competent and respectful to the needs of all our recipients and our stakeholders.

Our program has assisted many, especially during the pandemic, where we have had students, families and individuals request assistance to return home due to loss of finance and hardships because of Covid and the lockdowns experienced in NSW.
