Hindu council of Australia had raised the issue of monitoring and dealing with religious intolerance in NSW schools. The matter was raised through the Faith Affairs Council of NSW. A subcommittee was formed by the Faith Affairs Council which is having discussions with the NSW Department of Education. Hindu Council has a member in the subcommittee and is fully participating in the process.
