Hindu community through Hindu Council of Australia and Better Balanced Futures met shadow cabinet of NSW during their Shadow Cabinet Community Meeting in Penrith Panthers.

During the meeting, following issues were raised with the relevant shadow ministers. Follow up meetings to discuss solutions are being planned.
- Seeking simplification of process to import Alternative (Ayurvedic) medicines into Australia.
- Seeking *Affordable* camp facilities to hold youth culture and leader camps for up to 500 people from 2 to 5 days.
- To celebrate International Yoga Day on the four courts of Opera House. The venue is being denied to SRMD for last two years.
- Improving SRE (Spiritual Religious Education in schools)
- Seed funding to kick start first Hindu school in Sydney
- Request equitable distribution of funded Chaplaincy places in NSW Hospitals.
These issues are being discussed with the NSW government.
