The Hindu Council of Australia has set up our first one-on-one meeting of some Hindu leaders with the Premier of New South Wales, Hon Chris Minns.
It was an opportunity for our community leaders to present their needs and concerns directly to the Premier. We could not accommodate all Hindu organisations and have managed to take some and we look forward to another opportunity to take some more organisations.
This meeting has strengthened the relationship between the Hindu community and the NSW government. The meeting was also attended by Hon Steve Kamper, Minister for Multiculture and the office staff of both Ministers were present and made all the necessary notes.
The meeting was attended by the following members –
Shri Sai Paravastu, Hindu Council of Australia
