Call for Sewa in flood affected regions in NSW

Namaste
Our hearts go out to all those impacted by the devastating floods across New South Wales. The scale of this disaster is immense, and the road to recovery will require all of us to come together with compassion and commitment.

The Hindu Council of Australia, through its Karma Kitchen and Hindu Benevolence Fund (HBF) teams, will be working alongside the NSW State Emergency Services (SES) to support affected communities. Our volunteers will be on the ground offering food, care, and comfort, providing calm amid chaos.

We invite all members and well-wishers of the Hindu Council to be part of this coordinated relief effort:

Volunteer with Us – If you’re willing and able, join our organised volunteer teams on the ground. We’ll ensure you’re guided, equipped, and working under SES coordination for maximum safety and impact.

Donate to the Cause – Your financial support enables us to provide fresh meals, essential supplies, and logistical aid to those in need. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

Let us uphold our dharmic values of sewa (selfless service) in this time of need. Together, we can bring hope and healing to our fellow Australians.

To register as a volunteer or make a donation, please contact us at: hbf@hinducouncil.com.au

In unity and service, let us serve the needy.
