ANZAC Day Dawn Service

The Australia–India Cenotaph Committee was deeply honoured to attend the ANZAC Day Dawn Service as invited guests at the Hornsby ANZAC Cenotaph.

It was a profoundly moving morning of solemn remembrance, where we stood alongside fellow Australians to honour the ANZACs’ courage, sacrifice, and spirit.
The privilege of marching in the parade, followed by partaking in the traditional gunfire breakfast, offered us not only a chance to reflect on the sacrifices of those who served but also to feel a deep sense of connection to Australia’s proud military history.

We are especially grateful to the Hornsby RSL Sub-Branch for their gracious invitation, impeccable organisation, and the warm hospitality extended to us throughout the morning.
Opportunities like these reaffirm the bonds of unity and shared remembrance across our diverse communities.

It was a morning that will be etched in our hearts, reminding us of the enduring legacy of service, sacrifice, and mateship that defines the ANZAC spirit.

Lest we forget.
