Hindu Council of Australia

Congratulations on the Successful Inauguration of the Mahant Sanskrit Vidyapeeth

On behalf of the Hindu Council of Australia, we would like to extend my warmest congratulations to BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir on the successful inauguration of the Mahant Sanskrit Vidyapeeth and for hosting the prestigious Sanskrit Conference over the weekend.

The presence of esteemed dignitaries such as Shri Mahamahopadhyaya Bhadresh Swami Ji and renowned scholars, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Shrinivasa Varakhedi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sukant Kumar Senapati, Dr. Pavan Vyas, and Prof. Ganesh Timmanna Pandit, is a testament to the importance and relevance of preserving the Sanskrit language. Through this language, we safeguard our culture, art, history, and the timeless teachings of Sanatan Dharma. The event’s emphasis on these values resonates deeply with our mission at the Hindu Council of Australia.

A special mention must also be made to the BAPS youth for their inspiring recitations from the Satsang Diksha and other Hindu scriptures in fluent Sanskrit. Their devotion and scholarly achievement are truly commendable, and they represent a bright future for the continuation of our sacred traditions.

This remarkable event, filled with knowledge, devotion, and cultural pride, has no doubt left a lasting impact on all those in attendance. We applaud your efforts and look forward to continued collaboration in promoting and preserving the rich legacy of Sanskrit.
