Dharma in Daily Life – Insights from the interactive session with H H Chinna Jeeyar Swami

🗓 28th March 2025 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Western Sydney University, Rydalmere Campus
Hosted by JET Australia Foundation – Sydney Chapter in collaboration with the Hindu Council of Australia (HCA) and Western Sydney University (WSU)

A proud and spiritually enriching session unfolded as HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji shared profound insights on Dharma in Daily Life, guiding participants toward clarity, purpose, and inner balance.

✨ What is Dharma?

Dharma is a practice that leads you to a safer goal,” explained Swamiji. Just as sailors navigate turbulent seas to reach the shore, we must steer through life’s challenges with calm awareness and unwavering purpose. Dharma, he said, is not just duty—it is our code of conduct, expressed through thought, word, and action, guiding us to live in harmony with ourselves, others, and nature.

🌱 How to Practice Dharma Daily

Swamiji offered gentle yet profound reminders:

  • Contemplate your life’s purpose beyond material goals.

  • Align personal ambition with the welfare of the world.

  • Embrace change with awareness—see life’s ups and downs as fleeting.

  • Live in sync with nature, understanding it as an extension of yourself.

  • And above all, “Serve all beings as service to God.”

Dharma is not rigid law—it is the sacred rhythm of existence. While animals and trees naturally follow it, humans must seek it consciously. In doing so, we not only stay true to our path but also discover the Divine within.

A heartfelt thank you to all who attended and contributed to this meaningful event. May the wisdom shared by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji continue to inspire us to walk the path of Dharma—with clarity, compassion, and grace.
