Invitation to Attend AWGP_ Spiritual Program with Dr. Chinmay Pandya Ji

It is my pleasure to invite you on behalf of All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP) to attend a special spiritual event on Thursday, 17th April 2025 at Harvey Lowe Pavilion, Doran Drive, Castle Hill, NSW 2154,
Meet and Greet from 6:00 PM ( For Organization Leader)
Main Program from 6:30 PM

This inspiring event will be graced by Dr. Chinmay Pandya the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar – a youth icon, world-renowned spiritual ambassador.
This program is part of Dr.Chinmay first historical Australian tour, where he will be visiting six major cities across the country from 15th to 27th April 2025.
Dr. Chinmayji will be bringing the Jyoti Kalash from Shantikunj, Haridwar – a sacred symbol of divine light and spiritual awakening. For the first time in history, Australia will receive the spiritual vibrations and blessings of this Jyoti Kalash, energized by the Akhand Jyoti and sanctified waters from sacred rivers and pilgrimages across India.
Highlights of the Evening:

  •  Jyoti Kalash Darshan & Meet and Greet with Dr. Chinmayji
  • Deep Yagya and Soulful Bhajans by the Shantikunj Team
  • Inspiring Address by Dr. Chinmay Pandya

This event also marks the lead-up to three significant centenaries to be celebrated in 2026:

  1. 100 years of the Akhand Jyoti (eternal flame)
  2. 100 years of Gurudev’s Tapascharya (austerity and self-purification)
  3. 100 years of Vandaniya Mataji’s Avataran (birth centenary)

The evening will be attended by respected dignitaries, community leaders, and representatives from various cultural and spiritual organisations.

The All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP) is a global spiritual and social organization headquartered at Shantikunj, Haridwar, with a presence in over 100 countries. Through spiritual awareness, cultural values, youth empowerment, and community service, AWGP promotes holistic development and Indian heritage. AWGP Australia currently has eight active branches in major cities and regularly conducts spiritual and social programs rooted in Indian traditions.

The evening will be attended by respected dignitaries, community leaders, and representatives from various cultural and spiritual organisations.

General Religious Education in Secondary Schools

Hindu Council has been involved with the NSW Department of School Education since 2003 in drafting the original syllabus which was introduced in 2005. Cambridge University Press published the textbook for the course covering all the five religions. In 2015 we were again consulted by the publishers when the updated version of the textbook was published.

E-course on Hindu Religion

This course is designed to provide an overview of Hindu Religion and is suitable for non-Hindus to gain a very brief understanding of the Hindu religion.

A brief syllabus of the course “Introduction to Hindu Religion” is given below.

Introduction (Sanatan dharma, Definitions, Denominations and Diversity, Unity, Colonial influences), Beliefs, Purusharthas, Philosophies, Karma, Moksha, Concept of God, Traditions, Symbols, Scriptures, Rituals and Ceremonies, Rites of Passage, Bhakti, Festivals, Pilgrimage, Varnas, Yoga, Ahimsa, Vegetarianism, Temples, Ashramas of Life, Sanyasa, , Attitude of others, Hindu Religion in Australia.
