Do you know the unique meaning of Ashtakshari Maha Mantra?

In the eight-character mantra "Om Namo Narayanaya", the letters "Om" - the form of the soul, "Namah" - the mind,
"Narayanaya" - represent the five senses, "Jiva".

The Ashtakshari mantra is the 'pervading mantra'. Based on Astrology. That is why when this mantra is chanted, the entire mind
of the worshiper is permeated by this mantra and concentrates.

The waters are called Naramula. He got the name 'Narayana' because the Supreme Lord sleeps in that 'Anantha Jalarashi'.
Furthermore,

"Na" kara padocharana matrenaiva nakadhipa bhogam labhate
"Ra" Kara Padoccharaneva Ramrajya Bhogam Labhate
"Ya" Kara Padoccharaneva Kuberavat Prakashate
"Na" Kara Padoccharaneva Vairagyam Labhate

By uttering the letter "na" one gets Indra Bhogas.
By uttering the letter "Ra" one gets the pleasures of Rama Rajya.
By uttering the letter "Ya" he shines with wealth like Kubera.
By uttering the letter "na" one becomes averse to worldly pleasures, interested in divine
thought and attains salvation.
By chanting 'Om Namo Narayana' (Ashtakshari Maha Mantra) to the sound of such a powerful "Narayana" one can gain
self-knowledge. In this great mantra, there is great power.

Dhyayennarayanadevam
Snaadigha Cha Karmasu,
Atonement is everything
Dushkrita Svetivaishrutih!

If one remembers "Narayana" in all the bathing rituals, all the sins can be expiation and one can walk on the good path.

Alokya Sarva Shastrani Vicharyacha punah punah punah
Idamekam Sunippannam Dheyo Narayana Sada!!

On a thorough examination of all the shastras, it appears that continuous 'Narayana' meditation is the only, omnipresent, goal.

Aamna yaabhya sanaanyaaranya ruditam vedavrataa nyavvahaam
Meda shcheda phalani poorta vidhayassarve hutam bhasmani
Tirthaa Naamavagaahanaani Cha Gajasnaanam Vina Yatrada
Dvandvaambhoruha samskriteervijayate devassa narayanah

Studying the Vedas without remembering 'Sri Mannarayana' is like the cry of the forest. No matter how many pious deeds are
done, they are wasted like tears poured into ashes, and no matter how many Tirthasevanas are done, they are wasted.

Srimannaama Prochya naarayanaakhyam
Kena praapurvaam chitam paapinopi,
Hanah Purvam Vaakru Vrittaana Tasmin
Thena praaptam garbha vaasadi duhkham

Whoever utters the name of 'Srimannarayana' no matter how sinful, attains salvation by the grace of God. Just as he did not
perform all the pious work (namasmarana) in the previous birth, now he has 'this miserable birth'.

Jai Srimannarayana 🙏🏻
