Indian and Australian Education Minister hosted by Hindu Council

Hindu Council of Australia hosted visiting Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan with Australian Federal Education Minister Jason Clare, Minister Andrew Giles with Friends of India Parramatta MP Andrew Charlton.

The reception dinner to discuss Tertiary Education between India and Australia was organised with the help of Better Balanced Futures and law firm MintorEllison.  It was attended by members of various academic institutions in Australia, executive of HEACC, first Hindu School under planning, Mintor Ellison top partners and members of Karma Kitchen.

Mr Sai Paravastu, President, Hindu Council explained the work being done by the Council for the Hindu community and for Australian community. He expressed confidence that Hindus in Australia will soon be able to get Saatvik food cooked by Karma Kitchen and delivered to them via Meals on Wheels services. Minister Jason Clare expressed his support and confidence that the Hindu school will be up and running soon.
