We express our deep concern and strong condemnation of the hateful and extremist displays during the recent March for Humanity rallies held in Sydney and Melbourne.
Acts that shocked us all:
Burning of the Australian Flag — a direct insult to the values that unite us.
Chants glorifying violence and terrorism, promoting division over dialogue.
Symbols linked to extremism — appearing openly in public under the guise of protest.
We respect the right to peaceful protest, but reject violence, hate speech, and radical ideologies in any form.
We call on state and federal authorities to:
Uphold anti-terror and hate speech laws
Monitor and prevent extremist groups from exploiting free speech
Promote peaceful civic dialogue that protects all Australians.
Let’s stand together for a united, peaceful, and safe Australia.
