In a recent event held by Hindu Council with Liberal party where PM was present, two unauthorized men stood up and disturbed the meeting by shouting questions at the Prime Minister. We regret the disturbance caused.
The two men do not belong to Hindu Council of Australia, their manner of asking questions/comments were unwarranted and uncalled for. They do not reflect the views of Hindu Council of Australia.
HCA deplores the incident and asks the community to keep harmony between groups. Hindu Council considers all Sikhs as our brothers and sisters and we feel proud of their achievements both here in Australia as well as overseas in India.
We urge community members not to circulate or forward any videos or messages that promote hatred.
