As you may have seen in the news recently, India is preparing for a ground-breaking ceremony to reconstruct a temple at Ayodhya city which is one of the most-holiest places for Hindus across the globe.
Bhagwan Shree Rama has been the symbol of righteousness and morality no matter how difficult the circumstances or the challenges, the collective consciousness of the nation and hence construction of temple at his birthplace is a signifies the faith of over a billion Hindus not just in India but also around the world including about half a million in Australia.
On Wednesday, 5 August 2020 at 10:30 AM (IST) Hon Prime Minister of India , Shri Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the reconstruction of this ancient and venerated shrine at the birthplace of Lord Rama in Ayodhya.
Hindus, across the world are jubilant about this news and celebrating by lighting up the streets and homes. Beginning of a new era of national pride and our longing for the Ram Rajya, the just and harmonious system that ensures participation and prosperity for all.
This is a joyous occasion for the entire Hindu community across the world as this signifies the triumph of truth over evil. This would have been a bigger and better celebration if were not in the pandemic situation. We will celebrate this by lighting a diya (ghee lamp) in our homes (staying home) on this auspicious occasion.
A new chapter will be written in the history of Bharat (India), an event of reasserting India’s ancient civilization identity.
